Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Our volunteers and interns are an essential part of our mission to teach ocean science to everyone. We appreciate your efforts to help. We are currently seeking:

Education Volunteers & Interns
Help develop and present programs to school groups in the classroom or in the field. Work hands-on with marine life. Become a hero to elementary school children or a mentor to middle or high school students.

Public Program Volunteers & Interns
Develop, present and market public educational programs. Help the community become involved in restoration and conservation efforts. Work with scientific researchers to translate their research into hands-on projects.
For more information contact Ocean Discovery! at volunteerdiscovertheocean.org.
Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers and Interns must be at least 16 years old and be able to provide their own transportation.

A training course is required for all volunteers. No prior marine science knowledge is necessary.
